PUSHED DOWN,
KALI RISES NOW …

LIKE PELE SPEWING VOLCANIC TORRENTS
OF RIGHTEOUS REVOLUTION WITH LIFE AFFIRMING RAGE,
KALI SOUNDS THE HOWLING BATTLE CRY OF EARTH MOTHER
WRITHING IN AGONY
FROM THE RUTHLESS WEIGHT
OF MAN.
KALI RISES NOW…
IN FLAMES, TSUNAMI TEARS, AND SPILLING BLOOD,
SPELLING CLEARLY THAT THE NEXT MOVE IS OURS…
IS MINE…
KALI RISES NOW…
IN ME…
AS THE RIGHTEOUS LOVING FORCE OF CHANGE.

This poem came when KALI energy coursed suddenly and deeply through my body during this last week. i had to meet her with heart and breath to not be overwhelmed. i learned that, like myself, Kali’s righteous compassion can quickly escalate into a destructive rage…if not for the crystal consciousness of Her husband SHIVA, the primal Yogi, and most anciently worshipped God.

And SHAKTI, as KALI, calms and balances HER FIRE by standing on SHIVA, to be absorbed into HIS CLEAR COOL STREAM OF MEDITATION, within the cave of HIS highest mind’s eye.
Their dance together births the spark of personal and planetary transformation.
